Se o internauta não conhecer minimamente a banda ficará pensando que You Keep Me Hanging On se chama Eleanor Rigby (clássico dos Beatles) ou que My World is Empty passou a ser chamar People Get Ready.

Yesterday - A Tribute To The Beatles - Live From Las Vegas! - 2007
Performing all eras of Beatles music in their original key, wearing drainpipe trousers and playing authentic instruments, Yesterday - The Beatles Tribute has performed on five continents. Beginning with the British Invasions in 1964, the mop tops from Liverpool began the first wave of Beatlemania. The Beatles forever changed the face of pop music with such songs as "Hard Day's Night", "Help", "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", "Sgt. Pepper", and "Revolution". Yesterday recreates note for note the music of the Fab Four.
Based in Las Vegas, Yesterday show bands have performed the long running show in among others, Atlantic City at the Tropicana Casino Resort for three years, at the Horizon Casino Hotel in Lake Tahoe for eight months, five months in the Tiffany Theater at the Tropicana in Las Vegas and hundreds of venues across the US.

You just cannot keep an old rocker from the '60s down these days. Steve Ellis is the old frontman from glam pop band The Love Affair, whose number one hit Everlasting Love is still a staple of nostalgia radio stations throughout the world.
On this, he's come up with an album made in 10 days in a mate's new studio. And it is by no means a bad record at all if you like familiar tunes well sung and performed.
Ellis was never a flash in the pan, as his brilliant performance on the soundtrack to the film of Joe Orton's Loot testifies, and again the album reflects his impeccable choice of songs.
As well as two of his own compositions, penned with Andy Lewis and Eric Wright, he has chosen songs by Neil Young and Beatles and a reggae version of Please Please Me which, though it might not sound like a good idea, works pretty well.
All in all, an honest offering of enjoyable fare with nothing outstanding - but all of it worthwhile.
01. Don't Let Me Be the Only One 02. Healing Touch 03. Hit the Spot 04. Never Say Never 05. On the Way Home 06. Perfect Sunday 07. Please Please Me 08. Thank You Baby for Loving Me 09. War Train 10. We Got It

Ronald Frederick "Ronnie" Lane (1 April 1946 - 4 June 1997) was an English musician, songwriter, and producer who is best known as the bass guitarist and founding member of two prominent English rock and roll bands; the Small Faces where he was nicknamed "Plonk", (1965–69) - and, after losing the band's frontman, Faces, with two new members added to the line up from The Jeff Beck Group).
Subsequently Lane collaborated with other musicians, leading his own bands as well as pursuing a solo career while remaining close to his former bandmates. In the late 1970s he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and, despite charity projects and financial support from friends, former bandmates and fans, Lane, after suffering from the disease for 21 years, died at 51.
British label New Millenium Communications, in conjunction with the Lane family, has released three excellent new Ronnie Lane releases in 1997. The BBC live disc You Never Can Tell was planned for release prior to Lane's death in June, 1997. It's a two-disc compilation of sessions done for BBC radio between 1973 and 1976 that serves as a very fitting memorial to a great songwriter and charming performer. The release was primarily made possible by Lane's brother Stan, and has one of the loveliest packages of any CD I've seen lately, with lots of great photos, posters, an essay, and a brief interview with Lana, who was Lane's step-daughter during the Slim Chance years, and attended the events put on by Ronnie Lane & Slim Chance's Passing Show.
Disc One comprises all three Peel Sessions shows, beginning with the fall 1973 set half a year after Lane left the Faces, and continuing through 1974 and 1976, which means that most of the different line-ups of Slim Chance are included though sadly not credited individually on this CD). Disc two contains over 70 minutes with two complete lengthy sets taken from BBC's In Concert series, in 1974 and 1976. READ MORE HERE

01. AOH 02. Shake It 03. Fool For You 04. Young Man, Old Man 05. Clementia's Lament 06. What's On Your Mind 07. That Same Thing 08. Thank You Tony Jones 09. Evil

Steve Hunter has been contributing his expertise, style and tone to other people’s albums for over 40 years. Starting with Mitch Ryder in 1971 and moving on to record and or tour with Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, Julian Lennon, Bette Midler and Tracy Chapman to name a few.
He has had a longstanding working relationship and friendship with legendary record producer Bob Ezrin since those early albums, which continues today. From unforgettable tracks such as ‘Solsbury Hill (Peter Gabriel), ‘Train Kept Rolling’ (Aerosmith) and ‘Intro to Sweet Jane’ (Lou Reed).
Steve has recorded four albums under his own name: ‘Swept Away’ ‘The Deacon’ ‘Short Stories’ and Hymns For Guitar’. The latter two can be currently found on most major online stores.
Most recently Steve has featured heavily on the new Alice Cooper album ‘Welcome 2 My Nightmare’ a successor to the hugely successful ‘Welcome To My Nightmare’ released in 1975 and also completed a world tour with Alice during 2011.
‘Short Stories’ is a collection of instrumentals full of mood and color.
“I have always admired authors such as O. Henry and Edgar Allan Poe for their ability to tell an amazing tale in a very few words. I am also a big fan of the old Twilight Zone series for the same reason. With “Short Stories” I’ve tried to do something similar only with music. Most of the songs on the CD are 3 minutes or less in length but I wanted each one to tell its own little story. I also think of each piece as a “sound picture”, projecting an aural image as well as telling a story. I hope you enjoy my collection of “Short Stories”.

Kinks tribute band (The Kinx) first got together in 2007, the first year was dedicated almost entirely to re-recording the Kinks songs. They examined the music of The Kinks in the finest detail so as to re-create it in a recording made some 40 odd years later. The instruments used, who played which part using a particular type of amplifier, the dissection of each drum fill and the intricacies of the vocal arrangements were all pulled apart and put back together again. This process lasted some 13 months.
The band emerged at the end of this long recording project with their minds still intact and went on the road. All of the musicians in The Kinx are seasoned professionals when it comes to performing live in previous guises. The band has already received fantastic responses, not least at Liverpool’s famous Cavern Club on the bill with The Undertakers and The Mojos. The Kinx have since been booked to perform 60′s shows with Liverpool Legends Gerry & The Pacemakers.
Let’s not forget that The Kinks along with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Who were the ‘big 4′, the original ‘Britpop’ bands that defined a whole new musical generation back in the early sixties.
Now you can revisit those heady days when the world was changing so quickly from the austere times of the previous decade. Hair was growing longer, skirts were getting shorter, shirts were getting louder and pirate radio ruled the airwaves. The Kinx aim to make you smile when you remember those fantastic times. Tight 3 part harmonies and musicianship of the highest standard have combined to bring those fabulous Kinks songs from the swinging sixties back to life.
Attention to detail is paramount, authentic instruments and amplification is matched with a modern day state of the art sound system to deliver a truly magical musical experience. Attention has also been paid to the image, authentic 60′s Mod clothing as worn by the band, drainpipes and Chelsea boots, paisley shirts with penny drop collars and double cuffs – real Mod style for the iconic Kinks generation.
